Little Whiskers Market began with a simple idea: small pets deserve the same thoughtfulness we give every other member of the household.
Rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas spend much of their day chewing. It is how they explore, how they settle, how they keep themselves occupied. So our collection is built around that one honest behaviour — natural wood, in a handful of forms, chosen for how it feels to gnaw, strip and rearrange.
Every pack is 100% natural and handcrafted, with nothing added. We keep the range small on purpose: four options, one price, no guesswork. What matters to us is what happens after the box is opened — a curious nose, a satisfied crunch, an afternoon well spent.
Our materials come from local organic farms across Chautauqua County in Western New York. We choose our woods from growers we know and trust, which keeps everything close to its roots and keeps the farming community around us in the work. Each pack is then prepared and handcrafted here in the Jamestown area, with the little ones who will enjoy it in mind.

Introducing a chew
Offer one new item at a time and stay nearby. Let your pet approach it in their own time — some investigate immediately, others take a day or two.
Supervision
Always supervise your pet when introducing a new chew, and check in on how it is being used as they get familiar with it.
When to replace
Remove and replace chews that become excessively worn or soiled, or that have broken down into small fragments.
Hay and water first
Chews are enrichment, not food. Provide unlimited hay and fresh water daily as the foundation of your pet's routine.
Storing chews
Store in a cool, dry place away from damp and direct sunlight so the wood keeps its natural texture and scent.
Rotating the range
Swapping between grape, apple and willow — sticks one week, a wreath the next — keeps chewing interesting without adding anything unnatural.

Our approach to your information is as plain as our ingredient list: we collect only what we need to get your order to your door, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
What we collect
When you place an order, we receive your name, email address, shipping address and the contents of that order. If you write to us, we have whatever you chose to put in your message. If you sign up for occasional brand news, we have the email address you gave us. That is the entire list.
We never see, handle or store your card number. Payment is processed end to end by Stripe on their own secure pages — your card details go to Stripe, never to us.
How we use it
- To pack, post and track your order.
- To reply to you if you contact us about an order or a question.
- To keep basic records of sales, as any business must.
- To send brand news only if you have specifically asked for it.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not email people who have not asked to hear from us.
What stays in your browser
Your basket and your recently viewed products are stored in your own browser's local storage, so your basket survives a refresh. That information sits on your device, is readable only by this site, and clearing your browsing data removes it completely. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics pixels here.
Who else is involved
Two services necessarily touch an order: Stripe, which processes your payment, and the shipping carrier, which needs your delivery address to bring the parcel to you. Each handles your information under its own privacy policy. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, as all web hosts do. Beyond those, no one.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as we need them for customer service, returns and tax and accounting obligations. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Anything we no longer need, we delete.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — and if you live somewhere that grants you formal rights over your personal data, we will honour those rights. Email us and a person will handle it, not a form. Marketing email always carries an unsubscribe link, and one click is enough.
Security, children, and changes
Our site is served over an encrypted connection and payments run through Stripe's own secure infrastructure. No system is perfect, but we keep the information we hold to the minimum precisely so there is little to expose. This shop is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If we ever change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.

Natural chews cannot be resold, so returns are not accepted — but we always make a damaged or incorrect order right.
How your order travels
Orders are packed by hand and handed to the carrier within one to two business days. Shipping is a flat $3.99 per order within the United States — the rate does not climb as your basket grows, so a full box of four costs the same to send as a single pouch. You will receive tracking by email as soon as your parcel is on its way.
Once a parcel leaves us it is in the carrier's hands, and delivery times can vary with distance and weather. If tracking has not moved in several days, write to us and we will chase it with you.
Returns, and if something is not right
Because these are natural chews heading home to small pets, we are not able to accept returns or exchanges — once a pouch has left us it cannot be resold. All sales are final, so please double-check your order before you pay.
That does not mean you are on your own. If a parcel arrives damaged, if the wrong item turns up, or if something is missing, email us a photo within seven days of delivery and we will put it right with a replacement or a refund. Nothing needs to be sent back.
